Does the notion of wild adventure through the places untamed by mankind set your blood on fire? Does your heart jump out of your ribcage when you race up sand dunes and hang suspended in mid-air for a fleeting moment? Say no more, because we’ve got news for you.
General Tire, a subsidiary of Continental, has introduced the latest advanced tread technology on its Grabber AT3 tire, and it’s gonna get you off-roaders all excited.
What is General Tire?
Founded in the Middle East in 2011, General Tire gives car owners outstanding quality and performance, combining exceptional off-road capability and excellent road grip in all weather conditions.
The company’s flagship product, the Grabber AT,3 is a versatile and robust tire developed for use on SUVs, pick-up trucks and off-road vehicles.
Introducing Grabber AT
Simply put, Grabber AT is the next step in the evolution of off-road tires. They boast greater adherence to such surfaces as wet land, mud, and sand than the previous generation.
But how do they measure this? Just ask Matthias Bartz, BD Manager for General Tire EMEA. He uses the braking distance (time between hitting the brake and when the car actually stops) as a criterion for how tires perform across different terrains. Safety is paramount, and better grip is key in road safety.
For all you adrenaline junkies out there, here’s a challenge. Get your car fitted with the latest Grabber ATs, then go skidding in a bog. Let us know how it goes with the grip.
Does this piece of news seem exciting to off-terrain enthusiasts among you? We all need to wind down now and then, and few things intoxicate as much as embarking on a man vs nature journey with absolute confidence in your vehicle. At least that’s what it says on the can.
