British born car brand MG Motors has joined the likes of Audi and GMC in offering customers the chance to buy online with their all new e-commerce platform.
You can choose from a local distributors’ stock, reserve, pay online and schedule home delivery. You’ll also be able to book home test drives.
Tom Lee, Managing Director of MG Motor Middle East, is all for the virtual experience, saying:
“The automotive industry has seen a major shift in recent months and years, with buyers’ behaviour and the window shopping and physical purchase of vehicles in showrooms moving to a more virtual one.
“According to a recent independent study across the GCC, 6 out of 10 customers are now willing to purchase vehicles online.
“With the launch of our new e-commerce platform, we will be able to serve our customers from the comfort of their homes more effectively.”
So maybe you want to do things the way we did all the way back in 2019, you know when lock downs and such were something out of a Stephen King novel. And MG want to make sure you can.
You can visit their showrooms and service centres, which remain open this holy season.
They’re still taking precautions, with stricter sanitisation protocols for new car deliveries, and cars MG service centres return to customers.
You can buy the latest MG models like the MG HS, MG5, and MG RX8 online via the website.
Keep an eye out for special deals and discounts on specific models. Here’s one to get you going: MG’s offering a 2 year/30,000 KM free service package on select cars.
In future phases, MG wants to include a pre-booking function for out-of-stock models.
They also want to enhance the virtual shopping experience with a full 360o display of car interiors and exteriors.
They’ll include walk around videos with MG sales consultants talking you through features, functions, and offers, available in multiple languages.
Visit MG’s website, where you can find a local distributor.
To buy a new MG car, you’ll need to make a small down payment via a payment gateway. You can pay using credit and debit cards or Samsung Pay.
After you’ve placed your deposit, the Customer Relationship Management from the showroom will contact you for all car delivery formalities.
