Cadillac launches CT5 in the Middle East

Cadillac’s unrivaled 2020 CT5 sedan is here at last, and she’s more tech-savvy than ever before.

Boasting a new customisable fastback design for a refined drive down the marina, coupled with an interior tailored to the driver’s needs; advanced touch-tech for a complete experience at your fingertips, the CT5 offers it all and more.

Here’s the latest as Cadillac launches the all-new CT5 in the Middle East for the first time!

A new era for Cadillac

2020 marks the start of a new decade and Cadillac are adapting to the modern user, leveraging off the natural proportional advantage of the vehicle’s rear-drive platform to deliver power, presence and performance. In other words, it’s pure awesomeness.

The CT5 is its predecessor after a year in the gym. Lengthened side glass to accentuate its sweeping fastback profile, taut character lines that underline strength, long 116-inch wheelbase, this is the Michael B Jordan of cars.

The CT5 Luxury and Premium Luxury models have bright exterior accents and unique grilles and fascias, while the Sport model has gone for a darker accent and performance-inspired detail including a spoiler and standard 19-inch wheels.

Delivering luxury, precious and power

Taking the next step in car technology

You’re in for the time of your life, and you can play it all back in 1080p HD on the 10-inch touchscreen mounted within the instrument panel itself for better visibility. Just keep your eyes on the road, and not on Chris Hemsworth’s abs.

Cadillac really is putting you in the driver’s seat for a complete driver-centric experience. Pair your phone via Near Field Communication, and interface with your car via a new rotary controller.

The 2020 CT5 provides a refined ride while maintaining the world-class handling and fun-to-drive characteristics that define Cadillac sedans.

The Adaptive Remote Start automatically activates features like heated/ventilated front sets, steering wheel and other climate systems, depending on the temperature.

You can now activate the trunk release with your foot via the hands-free decklid that uses a motion sensor with the Cadillac crest target projection.

Built for performance

A 237 horsepower 2.0L Twin-Scroll Turbo engine and 10-speed automatic transmission with Electronic Precision Shift power the CT5.

This standard propulsion combination offers responsive off-the-line performance with excellent low-end torque.

The twin-scroll turbocharger and a unique three-step sliding camshaft help the engine optimise performance across the rpm band for on-demand power at all speeds.

The Cadillac’s powerful 3.0L Twin Turbo V-6 engine is available on the Premium Luxury and Sport models, giving you 335 hp and 400 lb-ft of torque.

Low-inertia turbochargers and a manifold-integrated liquid-to-air intercooling system help the engine produce exceptional power with virtually no lag, sustained across most of the rpm band.

Like the 2.0L Turbo, it is paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission with Electronic Precision Shift.

Both engines employ technologies such as direct injection, camshaft phasing, Active Fuel Management (cylinder deactivation) and automatic stop/start to balance performance, refinement and efficiency.

Evolved Driving Dynamics

Cadillacs have always been top of the range when it comes to RWD sedans.

And the CT5 is pushing the envelope further with evolutionary enhancements of the front and rear suspensions, including the signature double-pivot MacPherso-type front suspension, designed to improve road isolation and driver feedback.

Amazing road performance

You can also stay in control with a five-link independent suspension at the vehicle’s rear.

Other features:

  • Standard Bosch premium electric, rack-mounted power steering system.
  • Capable, confident and precise eBoost brakes.
  • Brembo front brakes on the Sport model.
  • Standard ZF MVS passive dampers.
  • All-wheel drive available on the luxury model.
