Lamborghini Aventador SVJ Xago: celebrating hexagons

OMG. Lamborghini are not letting up. Earlier this month, they announced a limited edition Sian roadster (sold out). And now they’re putting super sports car enthusiasts on (Saturn’s) Cloud nine with a special-edition Aventador SVJ. They’re calling it Xago, and only 10 units will be made.

Wanting more

The Aventador SVJ is already pretty unique. From cutting-edge aerodynamics to a feather-light carbon-fibre chassis, you’ve got it all.

Is an SVJ not enough?

Not to mention the 770 CV naturally aspirated V12 engine that peaks at 350 km/h and will jump the speedo to 100 km/h in just 2.8 seconds. You’re hard pressed to say this one isn’t special.

But if that’s not enough for you, and you already got one of 63 SVJ 63s, then the Xago will certainly whet your appetite.

What’s Ad Personam?

These days, it’s not enough that you own a supercar. No, sir. It’s got to be your supercar. And Lamborghini are offering you just that.

A blank canvas

You can choose from infinite possible combinations of everything from colours to materials. Say you want the logo on the seat to be hand-stitched instead of branded: yes we can!

It’s the Saville Row of the automotive world; a place where you can take your designer ride and tailor it to your specific needs. Not sure what to choose? Don’t worry. You can book yourself in for a consultation at your local dealership, and let the tailors guide you to customisation galore.

What’s with the hexagons?

From its very first creation, the ‘Ys’ and hexagons have characterised Lambo’s design. Whether it’s the Marzal’s interior or the Sian’s front and rear lights, the Y and the hexagon combine to create a sporty and elegant allure.

Y all them hexagons? #dadjoke

The Xago has taken a more literal bent on the hexagon. Its exterior features a unique “fading hexagonal silver effect”, and customers will have the opportunity to choose their contrasting colour livery from an exhaustive palette.

What’s your flava?

The new normal

COVID-19 has changed our world, and automakers have had to adapt to keep up. The virtual Ad Personam is an excellent initiative, catering to an audience that may be facing travel restrictions, but who still need their Lambo fix.

Customers can now mix and match alternative leathers, colours, materials, seats and rims. Wondering how the final outcome would look? You can explore your selection deets via Lambo’s advanced car configurator.

With a half-million dollar price tag, you’re getting exactly what you’re paying for: a truly personalised Lamborghini experience. Get customising.
