In the ancient times, three brave brothers discovered the path to immortality. They hid away in a mystical Himalayan cave, vowing to return in the age of mechanical progress.
Driven towards a common goal of serving families in the tiny blue dot, Kodiaq the iconic, Karoq the mid-weight and Kamiq the compact, have returned once again at the hands of the master welders at Skoda. Three SUV brothers for every family.
Admit it, it’s an epic tale. And none too shabby for a Skoda SUV.
Forty seconds dishing out pure 60s vibes with Wanda Jackson’s Whirlpool setting the tone for this fun and funky bit of advertising is literally all the feels.
The ad is pretty understated, yet packed with engaging energy. It’s a brilliant follow-up to Skoda’s earlier campaign, which featured Paloma Faith and her delicious track, I Gotta Be Me.
The new Each as Splendid as the next ad aired yesterday, Saturday 8th August during The Voice Kids.
Directors Graham Lakeland, Hayley Power and Steve Robertson have executed this brilliantly, bringing Skoda’s entire SUV range together for the first time in a bold and beautiful way. The ad will run as part of an integrated digital, media, PR and social campaign.
The flagship Skoda Kodiaq L & K is the leading man in the splendid production. This is a seven-seater suited to the entire cast of cheaper by the dozen, emphasising comfort and longevity. He played the big brother, and really stood out in black. Now that’s what you call a statement piece.
Skoda’s mid-sized Karoq Sportline is cast opposite Skoda’s Clarke Gable. Practical, yet stunning, this bootiful SUV took home the carscar for best family SUV at the Which Car? Car of the Year Awards 2020. Which Car? described it as being a “top-drawer family SUV, offering comfort and superb practicality for a competitive price.”
And finally, the cheeky little guy seeking out his mid-sized elder brother on a rear view cam is the Kamiq SE L. Don’t let this wee crossover fool you, he’s got an enormous 1,395-litre booty. Seriously, you can fit your whole Walmart Sunday shopping into it. Little Kamiq, hailed the King-Sized SUV, won Which Car?’s best small SUV of the year award, scoring 4 stars out of 5.
